Our Story.
Alex Conrad founded Renoves out of his passion for fine art, good living, history, architecture, and design. After spending almost seven years researching plaster application, architecture, and traditional building techniques while living in numerous European countries, he developed a passion for venetian plaster and stucco.
Though lime and marble plasters have been used for thousands of years and are valued for their beauty, feel, and durability, he noticed that paint lacked uniqueness, which sparked his desire to develop a magnificent Venetian plaster of his own.
He came to the conclusion that it could be done in the United States for less money and of higher quality than in Europe. Thousands of plaster formulae were mixed incessantly by him until he created what he knew was flawless, exquisite, and natural.
Renoves was established in 2003 and offers exquisite plasters to hotels, houses, restaurants, shops, hospitals, and many other locations. Currently, Renoves has shops in Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Miami, Africa, and Manila, Philippines, in addition to its headquarters in Ventura, California. Additionally, it may now be purchased in India under the exclusive distributorship of Finiche Trading Pvt Ltd, one of the country's top producers of wall plaster and lime.
